In April
2001, Ashby Police officers adopted a new method of policing certain
rural beat areas. This change does not remove the normal 24 hour
policing cover currently provided, but forms an additional service to
increase the visibility of dedicated beat officers.

Appleby, Chilcote, Swepstone, Snarestone, Newton Burgoland and Stretton
