The Appleby Magna WI celebrated its 65th birthday in February 2002, marked by
donating planters displayed outside the church.
The WI is a great way to make friends and join in with village life.
Newcomers are always welcome, and we invite you to join us at one of our
meetings to find out more about our activities. As well as social events and having fun, we actively
campaign on rural issues through the National Federation, such as keeping our
village post offices open and flourishing, and promoting local produce.
